The Pembroke Academy is an inclusive, tight-knit community. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, family atmosphere  where students, staff and parents alike experience a genuine sense of belonging. Just like any family, we prioritise inclusive care, exceptional pastoral support, and motivation for one another, united by our shared commitment to academic success. Our guiding vision is "Achieving together through consistently high standards and expectations demonstrated through the values of wisdom, courage, generosity, curiosity and passion," a principle that permeates every aspect of our academy.

Within our academy, a sense of calm productivity prevails, fostering a safe, happy environment where every student can flourish. This is made possible by the devoted team of specialist teachers and  exceptional support staff, who are dedicated to nurturing excellence for all. Moreover, our facilities further enhance the learning experience for our students, both academically and pastorally. We have invested in our academy site over the last year and can offer a wealth of outdoor spaces and learning environments as well as upgraded resources in a number of curriculum areas. The Library and Careers Hub provides support from 8.00am until 4.00pm everyday and our Inclusion Hub is a space dedicated to exceptional pastoral care which links safeguarding, attendance and restorative approaches with bespoke interventions and tiered student counselling services.

At Pembroke, our curriculum is designed to not only foster academic success but also to provide enriching extracurricular opportunities. We firmly believe that the journey from Year 7 to Year 11 is one filled with excitement and fulfilment. Our students are encouraged to embody and demonstrate our core values—Curiosity, Wisdom, Courage, Passion, and Generosity—guiding principles that shape every aspect of their educational journey through a broad and balanced curriculum that provides a real depth of subject knowledge and experience. Our staff are all subject specialists who have a passion for promoting their subject areas.
