Today, we welcomed Hannah Benson, an ambassador for the National Farmers' Union, to deliver an assembly to Year 8 and Year 9 students to inform our students about the diverse career pathways in the British agricultural industry. Hannah is a Lincolnshire cut flower grower and shared her experience of developing her business as a diversification on her family vegetable farm during her apprenticeship. Hannah also provided a great insight into the importance of challenging misconceptions about British farming.
11 hours agoFirst day back We are looking forward to seeing all students back tomorrow for a usual 8.35am start. It's promising to be a busy and exciting module! The first item to share with you this module is that on Wednesday, we have a mental health drop-in session with MHST from 11:40-12:40 in the main meeting room. It is open to all students! We hope you've all had a great break and are looking forward to hearing all about it tomorrow.
